This book is about a boy named Magnus Chase.! He is son of a Norse god Frey. He is cousin of Anabeth Chase. This book is about ragnerrok. This is when the wolf will break its chains that are holding it back. The sword of summer used to be Freys sword. However his son Magnus summed the sword from a river were Frey lost the sword. The sword is destined to break the chains. When it comes down to the battle the sword cuts the back leg chains. Serit the fire God is loving the view of the battle. Eventually they bind the wolf and leave. This book is amazing and awesome! Though it is most appropriate for grades 4 and up!!! I hope you enjoy it if you read it! A orfin named sophe is in her bed room wen she sees a gient outside of her room. The gient takes sophe to his home where she meats man eating gients. The bfg never went to schools he cant relly speak. They hear the man eating gients are going to England to eat all the boys and girls. Sophe and the bfg go on the adventer and mea the queen of England. Can they save the boys and girls will the bfg go to school read the book and find out. I think the book was the best because the auther came up wirth silly words for the gient to say. The auther made it so the gient can hear 50 times as loud. So he can hear things that we never even new. The book was so fun to read and I relly think other people will love this book. --KA, 4th grade, Ms. Purdy's class This is a great book for you if you like fantasy and adventure. This is a book with dragons,talking gold fish and rabbits,story's for better understanding, and more. This book takes in china. If you want to run away this book is a good reason why you shouldn't. Also, this book has a 'NEWBERY' (Just letting you know) My opinion is amazing and so much fun to read! This book is about a girl named Athena who gets transferred to MOA. Turns out, she's a goddess! As Athena goes in the ups and downs of life, she really makes friends! If you like the Goddess Girls series, then this is the perfect book! I got dragged into this book because 1. my brother recommended to me and 2. I can't get my nose out it; it's so funny! --JL, 4th grade, Ms. Kitts's class Jackson'mom and dad has to pay the bills for there apartment but it costs too much money.Jackson is going crazy in the beginning of the book thinking that Crenshaw is taking a bubble bath. But Crenshaw is real ,he is following him. Jackson's family is poor he is living in his mini van and Jackson doesn't like it. Finally they have an apartment to live in and now they are happy I think the book is AWESOME because there a couple funny parts. I would rate this book a 10 out of 10. I would rate this book for 2nd nod graders and up. --MH, 3rd grade, Ms. Drager's class The Giver is a book about an ordinary boy, Jonas, and becomes the receiver of memories. This turns him extraordinary and gives him access to the town's secrets. Once he finds out the secret of disposal, he runs away with a young child, Gabe, before the infant is killed. This is a book of mystery and wrongness. Read it if you dare! Enter at your own risk. --EZ, 4th grade, Ms. Mooney's class Now you all know Harry Potter whether you read it or not, but do you know Dobby? Gilderoy Lockhart? No? Then your in for a treat! Harry Potter is spending summer with the Dursleys, again. He has another ignored and boring birthday, and Uncle Vernon goes on and on about the visit of his boss of a company he works for. Petunia offers drinks, Dudley is a fake gentleman and Vernon tell jokes. Oh and Harry...sits in his room making no noise and pretending doesn't exist. But when Harry goes to his room someone..or something is sitting on his bed... Harry Potter is an amazing book for all ages! The whole series is wonderful! I personally liked it because of humor, magic, suspense and adventure. I think boys and girls should read it because it is such a funny and adventurous story about friends, bravery, and more. --SB, 4th grade, Ms. Brem's class Hilary Westfield is a self respecting pirate..at least she intends to be. But, her father, Admiral Westfield is against piracy. That is not the biggest of her problems though, she is being forced to go to Ms Pimm's Finishing school for delicate Young ladies. How can a pirate be a swashbuckler when they are doing water ballet? Finally one day she sneaks out of Finishing School and goes to apply for the job of a pirate. Will she be accepted? I think this book is amazing and have a lot of adventures. Everyone of all ages will love it! --SB, 4th grade, Mrs. Brem's class Geronimo the main character went to a haunted castle with Thea, Trap and Benjamin! The haunted castle was owned by Samuel S. Stingysnout! Samuel S. Stingy snout was Geronimo's uncle! Samuel called them for a ceremony! In that ceremony two people get married but I can't tell you who got married!
