This is a really good book because it is about 3 kids' opinion of this kid named Auggie, who has a facial deformity. They meet a him by all these different ways, like being assigned to show him around Beecher Prep school and moms being friends with each other when they were babies. It has humor, sadness, and laughter in it, enough to make you cry. It is about not how you see him and immediately not be friends, friendship, and not judging how they look. It is such a good book. It made me cry, laugh, and cry all over again. It also made me smile. --SK, 4th grade, Ms. Kitts's class

It shows you how to program and gives a full explanation of Python. I like this book because it explains how to do things in an east-to-follow way where it shows you all of the code, and explains how the code is working. Also, you make 2 games in the book. --BS, 4th grade, Ms. Mooney's class The Giver is a book about an ordinary boy, Jonas, and becomes the receiver of memories. This turns him extraordinary and gives him access to the town's secrets. Once he finds out the secret of disposal, he runs away with a young child, Gabe, before the infant is killed. This is a book of mystery and wrongness. Read it if you dare! Enter at your own risk. --EZ, 4th grade, Ms. Mooney's class This book is a great book because there are funny paragraphs and there is a little bit of a adventuer with 7 pups and 1 dog-Holy. They-Nikki, Zoey, and Chloe have to save Holly and her pups! I love this book because it has funny parts and parts that will make u want to read more. Also this book isn't a love book or a action book, it is not a funny book either it is all of them mixed in one! And this isn't hard to read, it is like a real person wrote in a diary because in the book it has almost a real persons handwriting! --AD, 4th grade, Ms. Ayers's class he book is about Amy and Dan (Brother and Sister) who's parents died when they were very young. They had to live with grandmother Grace. Sadly she died as well but left a secret. To find 39 clues hidden around the world or take a 100,000,000 bucks and go. If you were Amy and Dan you choose to find the clues. If you are their age you would no be able to travel around the world. So they asked Nellie to be their Au pair (Guardian). So that is where the story begins. I say it is very interesting story with mystery and adventure and thinking. --VK, 4th grade, Ms. Brem's class Now you all know Harry Potter whether you read it or not, but do you know Dobby? Gilderoy Lockhart? No? Then your in for a treat! Harry Potter is spending summer with the Dursleys, again. He has another ignored and boring birthday, and Uncle Vernon goes on and on about the visit of his boss of a company he works for. Petunia offers drinks, Dudley is a fake gentleman and Vernon tell jokes. Oh and Harry...sits in his room making no noise and pretending doesn't exist. But when Harry goes to his room someone..or something is sitting on his bed... Harry Potter is an amazing book for all ages! The whole series is wonderful! I personally liked it because of humor, magic, suspense and adventure. I think boys and girls should read it because it is such a funny and adventurous story about friends, bravery, and more. --SB, 4th grade, Ms. Brem's class |
