Library Olympics!
Let's play Library Olympics with author, Chris Grabenstein!
Center choices (after checking out books):
1. Help us create our own "Escape from DDE Library" board game with library trivia questions. Create your own emoji title, fill-in-the-blank title, or pictogram puzzle questions. Make up questions about your favorite books in our library, or our library procedures. Add them to a question card (along with the answer) by clicking on the link to our template below (you'll need to login to your google account to edit the template) or by writing and drawing your own question cards at the tables. You can use materials in the library (computers, books, signs, etc.) to help or inspire you!
2. You can also create your own poster advertising Chris Grabenstein's visit. Use your poster to create excitement about this event, just like PT tries to create excitement to get visitors to come to his grandfather's motel in Welcome to Wonderland. Posters can be on paper or created digitally.
Younger students are learning how to be independent in the library. This includes learning their student ID number and library procedures. This week, they'll choreograph dances to help them remember library procedures!
